Butterfly Girls - Nicecrane Designs

Good Morning, I wanted to bring you Butterfly Girls from Nicercrane Designs.  These three images are  sweet and romantic. And very easy to color.

I chose to color this image with my copic markers but she would be great with any coloring medium.  She would also make a great card, tag or even as an altered canvas piece.  So many possibilities!

Enjoy your time on Nicecrane Designs and Happy coloring!

NEW RELEASE - Stampendous

Check it!  Dorothy and Toto have been steampunked.  Oh yay!!!  Stampendous has an whole collection of Oz in their April Release happening this week.

Today I give you, Overlooking Oz in a mini cigar box.

Stamp your image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  Make sure to use Copic XPress Blending Card.

I wanted the image to look old and in sepia tones so I used all of the E 40's to color.

Measure the inside of your box and cut a dark brown or matching piece of paper to exact measurements.  Then cut dark brown paper 1/8 inch larger than image and a piece of kraft paper that is 1/8 inch larger than the dark brown paper.

Stamp and emboss No Place with Clear Bark Embossing Powder.  I then cut out only the section "There's no place like home...."  Next with Aged Bronze Embossing Powder emboss all edged of the image and inside dark brown paper.

Tip; with the aged powder because it is chunky, heat it from underneath the paper.

Next, using adhesive attach the brown paper inside the box and then layer your image with it's matting papers and attach sentiment .  I used pop ups to give it more depth.  For the final touches add trinkets to give it the steampunk look.  I used a mix of products for this project. Here is another look at the final finished project.

Thanks for visiting today don't forget to leave a little love note.  I would love to have you as a follower...I will also follow your blog :)  Just let me know you became a new follower!  Happy Designs.  - Rhea

Nature Notes - Nicecrane Designs

Today I am bringing you something new.  I am excited to share I am coloring for my new friend Ignacio the owner of Nicecrane Designs.  You can find a wonderful collection of vintage digital images that are ready for you to color or already colored and ready to be printed and added to your creation.  Be warned you will spend a lot of time browsing this extensive online store.

I chose to color this image with copic markers.  It is also a perfect watercolor image or chalking image.  Any coloring medium would be great.  I can't wait to find the time to do another one in this collection.

I hope you enjoy this wonderful website and coloring your new images!
